“Goat damn” is a street wear brand founded in Athens by Alexander Kappas. Raw, brutal and radical content is what distinguishes it. It’s something you can find comforting and discomforting at the same time, a statement for anyone open minded enough to accept it.

Packaging
Part of achieving success is making sure everything is on point and in concept. So that's why the packaging couldn't be like any else. As Jesus cut his self into pieces and gave his body to His descendants, the Goat does the same to all of His children. You guys!, (my customers). T-Shirts and Hoodies wrapped as a fine chopped goat, gives you the feeling that you're shopping fresh meat from your local butcher shop.

Production
From A to Z
Before you get to buy any of those so looked-for items, I first have to follow some very important steps.
a) listen to music, grasp an idea, brainstorm
d) create illustrations, making the patterns of every product with Optitex
c) fetch the fabrics, cut the clothes and send them for stitching, then send them for prints and finally send them for ironing.
d) photoshooting, uploading them to goat damn's e-shop and social media
f) and then shipping your orders to you guys.

"It's All Greek to me"
Each of those steps are taking place in Greece. Cotton 100% fabrics from TexArt, fine stitching from some the finest stitching laboratories in Athens, the best plastisol prints from Iris Prints and the list goes on.
Spread The Word
There are a lot of ways to advertise your products and bring in new customers. but as I already said above, it has to be in concept. Guerrilla marketing is by far my favourite. It uses multiple techniques and practices in order to establish direct contact with the customers. One of the goals of this interaction is to cause an emotional reaction to the clients, and the ultimate goal of marketing is to get people to remember products or brands in a different way than they are accustomed to.

The Missionary
I’ve decided to start my own brand. For weeks I struggled to come up with a name but nothing felt right. Then one night, as I was messing around with some drafts on my sketchbook I fell asleep. And then I saw that I was sitting on a chair milking a goat in the middle of an empty landscape. I kept doing that when suddenly the goat spoke to me.
-“Stop wasting your time!” It said.
Out of surprise I fell of the chair, and behind me I saw a bush burning.
A voice echoed through it:
-“turn around”, said the burning bush.
I turned around and saw the goat covered in flames.
-“Clear your mind and close your eyes.”
And so I did, when I woke up I was in bed, home. I went to my desk and quickly tried to capture what I just saw in my dream. At the same time everything started to tremble. First I thought it was just an earthquake but then I saw my ceiling being torn apart. A giant hand grabbed me and lifted me to the top of a building. The giant creature was some kind of a human formed goat. It had the head and legs of a goat but the body of an attractively shaped young woman.
-“From now on you will be my missionary.”
-“Missionary for what? What do You mean?”
-“You shall deliver my message.”
-“What message?”, I replied but it was of no use.
Then she touched my forehead and I woke up on my desk again, hopping it was for real this time. I grabbed my pen and wrote down the name, “goat damn”.
"So this is what I meant when I said earlier, "a lot of imagination". Of course there is no Goat using me as His messenger, just me. But it's more fun like this. And more importantly it's in concept."
"Welcome at the backstage. Here is where all the art is happening, and I don't want to brag but yes, it's all me. Actually everything about this brand is mine. Except the shooting, that's Akim, amazing photographer. And the mass production. But I already said that, let's move on."

"The name "Goat damn" is a sarcastic imitation of the well known English phrase "God damn".
As you can see the logo consists of three iconic figures. The right hand of God from Michael Angelo's famous painting "The creation of Adam", the right hand of Jesus Christ depicted on Greek Orthodox iconographies representing the letters IC XC, an abbreviation for the Greek words (Jesus (IHCOYC) Christ (XPICTOC) and of course the goat. All these to support the pun, "goat damn", with a humorous religious touch."

"So the whole concept here is that the "Alien" collection is based on an old Alien Movie "The Invasion" from the 50's."
"Of course there is no such movie. I designed this poster in order to give this "retro-alien horror-50's" vibe."
Vibrations
"Welcome to, maybe the most important sections of all. Music, vibrations that dig and make way to the deepest parts of our minds.
I believe that music is a way to communicate with our soul. I feel that sounds and vibrations have far more stronger impact than we can perceive. Or maybe I'm just too romantic."
