"MIROLOI"
“She couldn’t stop crying… Every night, she would go out into the courtyard and wail for her lost child. Until one night, a woman dressed in black approached her and said: ‘Why are you weeping, woman? I should have taken your keys...’”
Miroloi is a story of my great grandmother which I’m trying to make into a film.
Logline: In 1950s Skyros, a mother who loses her unbaptized infant during childbirth must confront the terror of social stigma and the personification of Death itself, refusing to accept that her child’s soul is condemned.
The medium is 2D traditional animation, production is handled by Funny Tales.
